Tropical Astrology Isn't Colonized, You Are

Ever so often a new modality or talking point becomes popularized. With said popularity, the denouncement of the old popular thing occurs. Why?

Because a colonized mindset cannot live with a both/and structure. Only an either/or.

So, if you find truth in Sidereal or Vedic Astrology, then Tropical Astrology MUST be wrong or worse… Colonized.

I have seen many talking points on Sidereal vs Tropical vs Vedic Astrology. As a person who has studied Vedic Astrology for 2 years, Sidereal for 1 year, and Tropical for God only knows how long; the truth is do whatever resonates with you. I have interpreted the charts of many people using various tools and let me tell you this, tools are tools. Astrological systems are not colonized, you are. In other words, a person’s interpretations can be colonized.

To say this even more plainly, if you want to ensure your interpretation isn’t colonized then ensure you and/or your practitioner is decolonized. If you are living in fear or they are teaching fear based or either/or paradigms chances are you and they are not decolonized.

A colonized mind can corrupt even the most ancient of systems. As a cult survivor, I have seen it. The cult leader’s main weapon of choice was Ifa-Orisa and even our Ancestors and Ori. ANY system can be colonized. It is up to you to ensure you engage with information and systems from a holistic lens.

Calling a tool colonized because you don’t resonate with it or because it is what most people practice in the West is losing the plot. Tropical Astrology is not like Christianity. It hasn’t been weaponized to rape, murder, or enslave millions, if not billions, of people. Tropical Astrology has not been used to control the minds and actions of millions of people for centuries. Tropical Astrology is a TOOL like tarot cards are a tool. It is left up to the interpretation of the one who is reading the chart or the cards to deliver a message that is encompassing of the divine. So, again… if you are colonized then so will your messages be. Let me say this again for the people in the back, even if you are a Sidereal or Vedic Astrologer, if YOU are colonized then so will your messages be.
